The spare room was converted into my music room.
The floor was squeaky so I glued and screwed the sheets down to the joists and much reduced that issue.
The walls also needed sound treatment to reduce reflections. I constructed and hung some acoustic panels with mineral wool and also added a few commercial acoustic tiles.
Before repainting additional electric and network sockets were installed, along with new lighting.
I had to move in early to restore usability of other rooms. Finally, I added thicker curtains and a carpet mat before moving the remainder of my musical gear in.
