Learning Bass had been aimed purely at adding the live instrument to recordings and to make my use of MIDI notation and sampled sound more realistic. I am using the Hal Leonard Bass Method book and audio files supplemented my MuseScore Learn videos and YouTube resources. Progress is steady but I do not have any aim to perform Bass live. I chose a short scale, entry level instrument because of my modest aims.
