In 2016 the opportunity arose to take part in the inaugural Mrs Sunderland Festival Adult Workshop and Performance. As this presented a second opportunity to perform The Armed Man, previously performed with CSI:Halifax at Halifax Minster in 2011 I jumped at the chance. Besides a fantastic sing and a really memorable day we were treated to the amazing laser light show created by Harry Meredith, son of our conductor Thom Meredith and CSI's choral director Lynn Meredith.
Subsequently I enrolled for three further workshops but sadly swine flu prevented me taking part in the 2017 Musicals event where I had hoped to do a masterclass with the Les Miserables song 'Stars'. I did put aside reservations and attended both the Opera for All and the Proms Favourites workshops, both of which were surprisingly enjoyable.
